To mark its 130th anniversary, Giulio Cocchi presents a limited edition Barolo Chinato “Tipo Esportazione,” crafted from a single vineyard, single vintage, and single cask of 2016 Barolo DOCG. This elegant aromatized wine opens with notes of cinchona bark, tobacco, and spice, evolving into dark berries, violets, and rich botanicals like cardamom, liquorice, and bitter orange. A delicate sweetness on the palate gives way to velvety tannins and a lingering finish of dry herbs and dark chocolate. Best enjoyed at room temperature or lightly chilled, it pairs beautifully with fine dark chocolate. Each 75cl bottle is presented in a premium wooden box, celebrating Cocchi's enduring legacy.
